Anne prequel?! WTF man, WTF.
Sullivan Entertainment is at it again. This time it’s an Anne prequel. (Thanks sassymonkey for the link.)
I refused to watch the third Anne miniseries - oh how I adore Rilla, and even the idea of the miniseries was like a total betrayal of everything Anne-ish. I really don’t think I want to know what Sullivan Entertainment can possibly do to hurt Anne even more. But apparantely they are going to try.
Not to say that I hate all of the miniseries’. The first two were (still are, really) fabulous, and I’ll be the first to admit that if Morgan was in the books, instead of Royal Gardner, then I would have totally wished Anne would have accepted his proposal. But … you can’t take something so totally sacred and wonderful as the Anne series and continue to butcher it. It makes me sad. And annoyed. But mostly just really sad.
