And I bet you thought I was done talking about Christmas. Ha! Just goes to show what you know. ;)
Debi was my Santa for the Blogger Christmas exchange. Unfortunately, it appears that my package got lost in the mail - a tragedy because I hear that it had 3 fancy chocolate bars in it, and I am nothing if not addicted to chocolate. (No joke.) We fear it was those chocolate bars that resulted in it not being delivered - I am of the theory that those at customs saw the chocolate and decided they wanted it for themselves. ;)
Due to this fact, Debi was so super sweet and got me an Amazon gift card to replace the gift I never got. So, I am now eagerly awaiting Jim Butcher’s Storm Front: The Dresden Files Book 1, which I will be reading for the What’s In A Name? Challenge, as well as Alan Bennett’s The History Boys: A Play. Thanks again, Debi! And thanks to Nymeth for hosting the exchange!

Okay, it’s that time of the year. If you want a Christmas Card from me this year, please leave me you address - either at my LiveJournal (comments will be screened), or e-mail me.

Sunday is the first day of autumn, and I can happily say that I am not the first blogger to mention Christmas preperations and traditions and whatnot. Which is unusual, but a bit of a relief. Certainly makes me feel less crazy and less guilty.
I started working on our Christmas catalogue at work a couple of months ago now, so I’ve been getting excited for Christmas for a while… Listening to the Christmas tunes and everything. Haha. I’m sure my parents are happy I no longer live at home as they do not enjoy it when I get into the holiday spirit any time before mid-November. Though, I have to admit that this is definitely the earliest I have ever started thinking about Christmas.
Now that the catalogue is drawing to a close, it’s time to start thinking about what I’m going to do about my Christmas cards. Do I print them myself again this year? Do I go to a print shop to get them done for me instead? Do I not do it on my computer at all, but paint or stamp them? Use stencils? Or do I do a combination of two of those? What kind of paper do I want to use? (Just the thought of different kinds of stock makes me go all tingly on the inside!) Oh, the possibilities are endless, and I’m getting so excited just thinking about it! I have a couple of ideas of what I want the cards to look like, so it’s just going to be working on figuring out how to make it work best. Oh yay! So super pumped about this!
(But don’t worry, I won’t make my yearly “give me your address if you want a Christmas card” post for another month or so.)
