This is a great book. I am currently working on a book report for it. I enjoyed the exiting scenes, and how much detail Arthur Slade put in between each and EVERY page. This book was great and I feel that I'll get a good mark on my book report to! :)

I really think Slade has the widest range of a Young Adult writer in today's market.

Read Dust ( his first novel which one the Gov Generals ) and then Megiddo and then ( his latest) Jolted -- and with the exception of a plentitude of Biblical allusions and a prairie setting, they are all completely different.

Megiddo makes me want to watch Lawrence of Arabia. Like, right now.

Megiddo's Shadow stuck with me a long time. Slade deserved another GG ----and the Red Maple ( which, unfortunately, went to Eric Walter's for We All Fall Down which DID NOT deserve it and wasn't in the same league ).

ok. the end.
