I've never actually read this biography, but I'm now hugely intrigued. I've actually spent a lot of time trying to figure out which stories of his "life" I like the best and maybe this book will help put it all in perspective. I don't know if you're aware, but <a href="http://unspun.amazon.com?rff=jl_c_books" rel="nofollow">UnSpun by Amazon</a> just launched a list asking <a href="http://unspun.amazon.com?list=21373&rff=jl_c_books" rel="nofollow"> just which Hornblower novel is the best</a> too.
