my sister read hallows the day before me so i told her that she couldn't talk to me for the whole day. This soon spread to her not looking at me because her facial expressions gave stuff away.
my sister ended up crying the whole day because of the book. i didn't cry, but i rarely cry in books, there were tear jerking moments tho.
i really liked the book. there were people that died that i didn't expect.
O Fred how i'll miss thee!

Tanabata - Yes, I will miss the characters dreadfully, but at least we can go back and revisit the series whenever we miss them too much. ;)

Nymeth - She definitely tied things together well in the end, so I totally aagree with you. :)

I was sad to see it end, but I think you're right. It had to end eventually, and I couldn't have asked for a better final book.

I agree with you that she certainly isn't the best prose writer but she does always manage to draw me in. I came to care about the characters and will miss them, but think it was a good ending to the series.

Sorry, Shan, would do, but I'm actually on my way out the door - driving to London to go to the folk fest today. We'll talk later this week, though, k?

i thought the ending was... well, not exactly bad, but... terrible. Yeah, that's the word. Come online and I'll rant about it.
