I was always told that it was one of the classics that every person just had to read, but it's one of those books I just never got around to. I don't know, maybe I'll try to squeeze it into my Christmas break!

I love Jane Eyre. I recently went through an all things Jane Eyre reading spree. The original and Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair were my favorite. Fforde was the only one who portrayed Rochester as I saw him. I loved Jane and Rochester. I've heard all the criticism about him not being such a great guy, what with keeping his wife locked up in the attic and wooing poor, sweet little Jane, but I chose to look past all that. I know, very open minded of me, right? I loved the humor and the intelligence that they shared.

I assure you that LM Montgomery PURPOSELY fashioned Dean Priest from Rochester. You can read about it in a Chapter of Preliminary thesis which should be done ( cross fingers ) round April. Now you have to go read VILLETTE !!! mmmm ME LOVE BRONTES !

But see, I don't like Emily Bronte at all. Not one bit. Alas! But, I shall eagerly await your thesis to read it! --C
